I then waited in the room for OVER AN HOUR and nobody would come in. To which she responded "Well since you're agruing with me I will prescribe it but I really don't think you need it". I told her I was aware of the risks and side effects and wanted to be prescribed it. When I answered her questions that I did not she said they usually don't prescribe Plaxovid for otherwise healthy patients. At 11:20 the PA ************************* (NOT DR) came in and gave me an exam and when I asked if she could prescribe me Plaxovid she proceeded to ask me if I had any high risk factors and my age (44). I arrived at 10:51 and was brought into the infectious disease room at 11:10 where the assistant came in about 5 min later to take my vitals and swab me for test. However, on this date, after taking a home Covid test and testing positive I went to this location to have another confirmed test and get a prescription for Plaxovid. I have been there many times before and had a pleasant experience. To which ***** stated that they would have no problem prescribing as long as there was a positive test. Before going I had called the service line to check to make sure that if I did in fact test positive if they would prescribe me Plaxovid or if I had to be high risk. In fact, it is only due to her helpfulness and professionalism that I waited this long to file a formal complaint. especially for NO SERVICES RENDERED! The rep at the ***************** is not the issue. I have MULTIPLE emails all stating I should have had my money long before now, this is ridiculous. I've contacted my bank and they said they reached out to MD Now a week ago and they still haven't resolved this. My main issue is that if the company policy is not to do medical clearance forms more than 30 days in advanced, then why was my money taken at all knowing I came there for that sole purpose? Now I've been put in financial hardship because $149 is not money I had just lying for a business to play with. Its been like pulling teeth to get my money back and it was oh so easy for them to take the payment. First it was some "coding issue", then I was told it was processed, only to call a week later and be told it was processed that. Over the past several weeks I've been getting the run-around about my refund.

I was actually able to get in with my PCP the following week to have the clearance form, EKG and physical all done free of charge. My surgeon was pressuring me about getting the clearance form turned in sooner, so I told the rep at the Metro West MD ********** and she emailed me saying that my $149 would be refunded. So, they held my fee and scheduled me for 3/21/23. However, I was called the next day and told that medical clearance forms can only be complted within 30 days of the scheduled surgery.

I was told I needed to get additional blood work done, which I completed the next day. I paid the $149 fee on 2/28/23 to have a medical clearance form completed.
